General Terms – Poland

Basic Principles

These Terms apply to the SafeMe mobile application in Poland.

The Mobile Application Services allow you to order and use services offered by SafeMe.

Please read these Terms carefully.

They contain information about the services, your rights, and other important information.


Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set forth below:

Administrator – A person authorized to manage the SafeMe Application, including the ability to add, remove, and modify information relating to Authorized Persons.

Service – Activities and services provided by SafeMe or third-party providers.

SafeMe Application – A mobile application installed and operated on a Mobile Device that enables communication between the User and SafeMe, including, but not limited to:

  • requesting route monitoring services,

  • initiating emergency assistance requests through public emergency services (112),

  • accessing safety-related services provided by SafeMe.

The application may be downloaded from Google Play for Android devices or from the Apple App Store for iOS devices.

User – An individual using SafeMe services through the mobile application.

Application Password – A password created by the User for logging into the application.

Safety Password and Emergency Password – A password created by the User for requesting assistance or informing SafeMe that no threat exists.

Login – The User’s unique system identifier, consisting of the User’s mobile phone number.

SafeMe Safety Assistant – A qualified SafeMe employee on duty at the SafeMe Monitoring Center.

SafeMe Monitoring Center – The unit responsible for monitoring User safety, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Alert Cancellation – Notification sent to a SafeMe Safety Assistant using the designated cancellation password.

Push Notifications – Notifications delivered by SafeMe through the operating system provider’s server infrastructure.

Safety Monitoring Center – A unit responsible for continuous safety monitoring, supervision of alarm signals transmitted through the mobile application, and the collection and processing of related information.

ICT System – A system of interconnected IT devices and software used for processing, storing, transmitting, and receiving data through telecommunications networks.

Agreement – An agreement concluded between SafeMe and the Customer under which SafeMe provides services including, but not limited to, monitoring and responding to alarm signals originating from the mobile application and/or mobile device.

Mobile Device – A portable electronic device connected to the Internet using wireless technologies (3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi) and operating on Android 4.03 or later, or iOS 8.0 or later, on which the SafeMe Application is installed.

User – A natural person who has completed registration and purchased a SafeMe subscription through the mobile application.
